Northern Vac Services is a company that is dedicated to creating a sustainable and positive presence in the local community. Not only do we provide top-quality services, but we are also committed to giving back to the local communities and indigenous groups that have supported us. Our involvement includes donations, employment opportunities, sponsorships, and more. We want to continue doing what we can to help out our neighbours and make our community a better place!
We understand how important it is for these communities to have job security, which is why we strive to provide employment opportunities for Indigenous members. We offer a variety of jobs to locals, ranging from full-time permanent positions to part-time seasonal employment. This helps us give back to the area through job creation and economic development.
In addition to employment opportunities, we are also proud sponsors of many local events and organisations, including the first annual Northern BC Bike Ride and various youth sports teams in Fort St John. We have recently extended our sponsorship for the Northern Vac Walking Track located around the top of the Pomeroy Sports Complex. This extension ensures our community can continue a healthy and active lifestyle year round. Another of our latest donations was $10,000 for signs to the community of Prophet River, as well as a donation of $3000 towards gifts for kids during Christmas time.
However, we also want to make sure that our commitment to giving back extends beyond just monetary donations. That’s why we offer domestic waste and removal services to our local community events such as air shows, rodeo’s or annual rib fest, to help ensure that they remain clean and safe for all the public to enjoy
