At Northern Vac, we take pride in the work we do within our community. We are committed to giving back and supporting the people and organizations that have helped shape us into the company we are today. This year has been no exception, as we have donated both money and time to a variety of charitable causes. Here is a look at some of the work we’ve done in the past year!

We made a 10-year commitment to the City of Fort St John by establishing a walking track at a local sports complex that will be extended to 2025 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have also extended our generosity beyond the city and into Prophet River First Nations by sponsoring a baseball tournament, installing new signs and providing gifts for their kids. Additionally, we donated trucking and water services to develop outdoor rinks at Bell Donald School and Finch School, which will provide much needed recreational opportunities for local youth.

Our company Manager, Reid, has also shown his dedication to the cause by volunteering his time to coach hockey teams, as well as sponsoring an Oilmen’s hockey tournament and a recreational league hockey team.

To further extend our commitment to the community of Fort St John, we recently donated funds to support horse boarding in the area. This donation will ensure that local equestrians have access to the resources and facilities they need for a safe, enjoyable riding experience.
